FUTURE LEADERS
The Petroleum Alliance Future Leaders program was created to identify and encourage industry leadership from the organization’s youngest members.
Each year, a new class of up-and-coming oil and gas industry professionals is selected to participate in a 12-month program that will allow them to meet with current industry leaders, hone their leadership skills, and participate in The Alliance’s advocacy efforts.
Nominations for the 2025 Future Leaders class will be accepted through Monday, October 21, 2024.
To be eligible for nomination, the person must meet the following criteria:
- Candidate must be 35 years of age or younger
- Candidate must be employed by a Petroleum Alliance member company in good standing
- Candidate’s employer must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
- The company is at the Corporate – Level 2 membership ($5,000) or higher
- The company’s annual giving towards The Alliance is at least $15,000 or higher (Includes all Alliance contributions — membership dues, advertising, event sponsorships, etc.)
If selected, all Future Leader program participants will be expected to:
- Miss no more than three Future Leader events
- Contribute at least $100 to The Alliance PAC fund
Summary of Required Future Leader Events for 2025 program participants:
- 2024 Petroleum Alliance Fall Conference
- Orientation Class
- Icebreaker Event
- Three dinners with Alliance Board members
- Four leadership development classes
- An afternoon at the Capitol
- One charity event
- Networking event with University of Oklahoma students
- 2025 Petroleum Alliance Fall Conference
