Excellence in Environmental Stewardship Award
The Petroleum Alliance Excellence in Environmental Stewardship Award highlights industry efforts demonstrating a commitment to air, water, land, or species conservation or improvement. The award honors Alliance member companies that have implemented innovative, voluntary, and effective environmental programs in Oklahoma.
Rules for Award Submissions
- Alliance member companies are limited to three environmental programs for award consideration.
- Nominated programs must have been initiated between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023.
- Award applications must be received by Feb. 29, 2024.
- Award applications may be accompanied by relevant photos and supporting documents.
Community Impact Award
The Petroleum Alliance Community Impact Award recognizes industry efforts demonstrating a commitment to the communities and neighbors with whom they work. The award recognizes Alliance member companies that have positively impacted the communities where they operate through programs prioritizing community involvement.
Rules for Award Submissions
- Alliance member companies are limited to three community impact programs for award consideration.
- Nominated programs must have been initiated between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023.
- Award applications must be received by Feb. 29, 2024.
- Award applications may be accompanied by relevant photos and supporting documents.
Reat Medcalf Safety Award
The Petroleum Alliance Reat Medcalf Safety Award recognizes industry efforts to keep the oil and gas workforce safe. The award recognizes Alliance member companies for commendable leadership and excellence in integrating Health and Safety programs in their business operations. The award is designed to highlight innovative safety programs, both long-term and short-term. The award is named in honor of Carnegie Medal winner Reat Medcalf who risked his safety to save the life of a co-worker at an Earlsboro, Okla., drilling site in 1927.

- Alliance member companies are limited to three safety programs for award consideration.
- Nominated programs must have been initiated between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023.
- Award applications must be received by Feb. 29, 2024.
- Award applications may be accompanied by relevant photos and supporting documents.
ALLIANCE AWARDS
The Alliance Awards program honors the excellence and quality of projects accomplished by Petroleum Alliance member companies throughout the state. The awards, which are subject to the approval of The Alliance Board of Directors, will be presented during The Alliance’s Annual Meeting in June.
