Start the new year off right at the Jan. 14 Wildcatters Wednesday luncheon, featuring a timely discussion on the policies shaping the future of America’s energy industry.

January’s featured speaker is Tim Tarpley, president of the Energy Workforce & Technology Council, where he leads policy, government affairs, international trade, and environmental strategy. Tarpley has spent the past five years advocating for the men and women of the U.S. energy industry in Washington, D.C., and across the country, testifying before Congress, federal agencies, and the Texas Legislature.

Before joining Energy Workforce, Tarpley served as chief of staff to Congressman Ted Poe, R-Texas, after beginning his career with former Congressman Mac Thornberry. His work has included major energy policy efforts such as Keystone Pipeline permitting, ending the crude oil export ban, and streamlining LNG export approvals.
