The Alliance’s December Wildcatters Wednesday will feature Mewbourne Oil Co. President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Waits.

The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Oklahoma City Petroleum Club.

Formed in 1965, the privately held Mewbourne Oil is one of the top five active operators in the Lower 48 with more than 3,000 producing wells, 500 of which are in Oklahoma. Today, the company runs 24 rigs across the nation, with three in Oklahoma and plans for a fourth.
