Maverick Natural Resources’ John Brawley will be the featured speaker at the Alliance’s Aug. 3 Wildcatters Wednesday at the Oklahoma City Petroleum Club.

John Brawley was appointed Maverick’s Executive Vice President & CFO in September 2018. Prior to joining Maverick, he served as SVP of Capital Markets, M&A, and Treasurer at Sandridge Energy. Brawley has held numerous senior leadership roles in public companies, including chief financial officer of both midstream and upstream companies. He also served as co-head of the Guggenheim Houston office from 2010-2013. Brawley holds a BA in economics and biological sciences from Rice University and an MBA from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University.
