Wildcatters Wednesday
In December, the Harold Hamm Foundation and Continental Resources announced a combined $50 million gift creating the Hamm Institute for American Energy at Oklahoma State University.
Hear about the vision of the Hamm institute first-hand from the man who made it a reality when Continental Resources founder and Chairman Harold Hamm serves as the featured speaker at The Petroleum Alliance’s Jan. 12 Wildcatters Wednesday luncheon at The Petroleum Club in Oklahoma City. Hamm will be joined on stage by Continental Resources CEO Bill Berry, Harold Hamm Foundation Director Shelly Lambertz, Oklahoma State University President Kayse Shrum and OSU Senior Vice President of Operations Jerome Loughridge.
The Hamm Institute’s mission is to educate the next generation of energy leaders — in Oklahoma, the United States and from around the world — cementing Oklahoma’s legacy as a global energy leader.
The Institute will host symposiums, authors, speakers, energy summits and global energy leadership conversations. The building will eventually house the Oklahoma Hall of Energy Legends Interactive Museum, a public exhibit highlighting the history and storied legacy of Oklahoma’s great energy leaders.
