If you could eat one food the rest of your life, what would it be?
Breakfast. Scrambled eggs with jalapeños, crispy bacon, crispy toast, and fruit.
Mountains or beach?
Without a doubt, mountains.
Have you met anyone famous?
I’ve been blessed to meet some really great people, but I would have to say Cal Ripken, Jr. (I’m a huge Orioles fan!)
What’s your favorite drink?
Not even close – Miller Lite.
Favorite college team?
Boomer Sooner.
In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
Our team is really great at deal making, increasing production, and ensuring that we are positive cash-flow minded.
What was your first car?
1977 Camaro LT. It was sweet!
What was your favorite TV show as a child?
“The Carol Burnett Show.”
Favorite band in junior high?
Eagles.
Name of your pet?
Our dog is Sophie (Havenese). Fought to not get one, but after 15 years I don’t know what I will do when she’s gone.
If you could have dinner with one person, alive or dead, who would it be?
This is easy. My sister, Heather, who left us way too early.
What’s the number one item you would save from your burning house?
My guitars. (You said item not person!)
What is your favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving. (Family, food, and football).
What is the best gift you have ever received?
One of my best friends bought me an Ovation Adamas for my 50th birthday. Bob Marley used it for “Redemption Song.”
What was your first job?
Summer job in Okmulgee working for the fire department. Learned things they don’t teach in school.
What is the first thing you would do if you won the lottery?
I’ve been pretty lucky without winning the lottery, but I would like to donate to an institution that could help educate our country about the benefits of fossil fuels to fight climate change religion.
Last movie you saw at the theater?
This is a bit embarrassing. “Gladiator.” July 4, 2000.
What’s your favorite app?
CNBC.
What is your favorite thing about working in the oil and gas industry?
Another easy one. It’s the people! Such a dynamic industry with such great minds.
