JMA Energy Company’s Chad McDougall has been elected to serve as chairman of The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma, the state’s largest trade association representing the oil and natural gas industry and one of the largest statewide oil and natural gas trade associations in the nation.
McDougall’s appointment came following a unanimous vote of The Alliance Board of Directors during the organization’s Annual Meeting. He succeeds outgoing Chairman Blu Hulsey of Continental Resources.
“I can’t tell you how honored I am to get the opportunity to be the chairman of The Petroleum Alliance,” McDougall said during a special ceremony during the Annual Meeting. “There’s no other business like this one. There are no other people like the people in this room. I’m proud to be part of this industry.”
McDougall currently serves as Vice President for JMA Energy Company, a position he has held since 2004 after joining the company in 1994. Prior to being named as vice president of JMA, McDougall served in various engineering, exploration, and land capacities for the company. Prior to joining JMA, McDougall was employed by Mewbourne Oil Company as a petroleum engineer.
McDougall is a 1992 graduate of The University of Oklahoma where he received his bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering.
