With an engineering degree from Oklahoma State University and graduate work in industrial engineering, Richard Spears has worked for 37 years in the upstream oil and gas industry, starting as a field engineer for Halliburton.

Today, he is Vice President at Spears & Associates where he is one of the co-leaders for consulting engagements and is the primary author of the firm’s Oilfield Market Report and the Oilfield Logix series.
