If you could eat one food the rest of your life, what would it be? Tacos. I could eat them for every meal.

Mountains or beach? Beach, but I never turn down a trip to the mountains either.

Have you met anyone famous? I met Garth Brooks while I was laying the sod at his house when I was in high school.

What’s your favorite drink? Club Specials.

Favorite college team? Oklahoma Sooners.

In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job? Collaborate with colleagues and engage with customers on their needs and ways to provide solutions to support their operations. (Despite what my wife and kids say is going to dinners, golfing, and shooting).

What was your first job? Sod farm. Worked there until I left for college. Laying, cutting, mowing, more mowing, even more mowing. Also drove a semi fairly often (supposedly farms have an exemption not requiring a CDL).

What was your favorite TV show as a child? I watched a lot of “MacGyver.”

If you could have dinner with one person, alive or dead, who would it be? My grandfather.

What was your first car? 1974 Volvo 164e. It was like a tank that drove like a boat. No A/C. Gas gauge didn’t work. Made top 100 biggest lemons in automobile history. I never carried the keys with me. I would just leave them on the floorboard .

What’s the number one item you would save from your burning house? Other than wife and kids, would have to go with my 1966 Pontiac GTO (this was the first car I purchased myself).

What is your favorite thing about working in the oil and gas industry? The people.

What is your favorite holiday? Christmas. Lots of time with the family and many fun family traditions.

Favorite band in junior high? Green Day.

What is the best gift you have ever received? My watch. My wife gave it to me for my first Father’s Day.

Name of your pet? Percy. He is a 2-year-old golden doodle.

What is the first thing you would do if you won the lottery? Take the family back to the Maldives. We got to go once while I was working overseas.

Last movie you saw at the theater? “Paw Patrol.”

What’s your favorite app? Sleeper (fantasy football).
