OKLAHOMA CITY (January 15, 2020) – The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma member companies have a new, affordable, flexible way to offer health plans and other benefits tailored to energy industry employees.
The Alliance partnered with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) to create benefits packages for companies with two to 50 employees. The plans include access to the state’s largest preferred provider organization (PPO), trusted providers, deductible options, life insurance, and nationwide access. All versions include dental, vision and prescription drug coverage.
“This partnership will make it possible for our members to provide affordable group health coverage to their employees,” said Alliance President Chad Warmington. “This is an exciting opportunity to allow our smaller members to choose the right health care plan, priced within their budget, with physicians and other health care providers they trust.”
The plans are available starting March 1 and quoting opens Jan. 15. Interested member companies may email benefits@okpetro.com or call (405) 601-2501 for more information.
