The oil and gas industry has seen a dramatic increase in wage and hour lawsuits over the past few years. Plaintiffs’ attorneys aggressively pursue employees through social media, websites and billboards, constantly trying to convince workers that they are being paid improperly and are entitled to damages. Adding fuel to the fire, the Department of Labor has specifically targeted the industry as well.
